Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

INGREDIENTS:


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F

  2. Line pie pan with one pie crust.

  3. In large pan over medium heat, melt butter and cook onions until they have become soft and translucent.

  4. Add flour, salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.

  5. Slowly mix in milk and broth.

  6. Stir until mixture thickens.

  7. Add frozen vegetables and chicken.

  8. Dump filling into pie pan and cover with second pie crust.

  9. Brush with butter *optional.

  10. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the top becomes golden brown.
