Pie Crust

INGREDIENTS:

2 1/2 cups organic all-purpose flour
1/2 Tbsp organic cane sugar
1/2 teaspoon Redmond RealSalt
8 ounces cold, unsalted butter, cut into tablespoon-size squares
8 Tbsp ice water
DIRECTIONS:
Place flour, sugar, and salt into a food processor and pulse to combine.
Add butter and combine until mixture creates course crumbs with pea-sized pieces. The mixture should remain dry and powdery.
Add water and combine until small balls/moist clumps form.
Transfer dough to a clean surface and press it into a ball. It will not be smooth.
Divide in half and flatten.
Allow dough to warm for about 30-60 minutes before rolling out.
When rolling the dough, lightly dust the surface and the dough to prevent sticking.
