Deconstructed Skillet Stuffed Peppers

INGREDIENTS:


DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a large, stainless steel skillet over medium-high heat, brown meat

  2. Drain excess grease and return to pan

  3. Add bell peppers, onion, salsa, and rice

  4. Mix well to combine and bring to a boil

  5. Reduce heat to simmer and cover with lid

  6. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until all liquid has been absorbed and rice is tender

  7. *add vegetable broth as needed until rice becomes completely cooked

  8. Top with toppings of choice!


TIPS:

  • *Can use any form of ground meat: beef, turkey, chicken, venison, bison, etc. Remember quality matters!
