Candied Pecans

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound pecans, halved

  • 1 cup organic cane sugar

  • 1 teaspoon organic cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon Redmond RealSalt

  • 1 organic pasture-raised egg white

  • 1 Tablespoon water


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F

  2. Mix sugar, cinnamon and salt together in a bowl.

  3. Whisk egg white and water together in a separate bowl until frothy.

  4. Spread pecans evenly onto a baking sheet.

  5. Coat pecans evenly with egg mixture.

  6. Sprinkle sugar mixture over pecans until evenly coated.

  7. Bake pecans for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
